First Time to Hold Jo Jo

They would put Jo Jo on her stomach because it was comforting to her. She loved her little purple passie.
She was so tiny when she was born. There were so many wires at that time.

Close up of Little Jo. She had the cutest little hats.

Before her bath she had a little Daddy time with Jeremy.

The weekend after Jolianne was born.

When we went to visit Jo Jo on Sunday, they decided to remove the iv line in her umbilical cord. Jeremy held her legs straight while the nurse removed it.
This was my first time to change Jolianne's diaper. There were so many wires and cords everywhere, it was harder than I thought it would be.

Andy was able to visit his little sister and touched her arm to let her know he was there.

Aunt Kim came by to see little Jo Jo. This was there first time to meet.

Visitors

Once Jo Jo got to Children's Medical Center she was allowed to have visitors. (When we were at Baylor only Jeremy and I were allowed to visit her)

Nana and Jolianne

Papa and Jolianne

Zach and Jolianne

Stacy and Jolianne

We were still not allowed to hold Jo Jo at this time because she was intubated.(on the breathing tube) I was still in the hospital at Baylor and would not be released until the weekend.

Moving from Baylor to Children's Medical Center

I met Jolianne for the first time on September 30. One day after she was born.
Before they took her to Children's Medical Center they brought her down to me to say good-bye.

Once she got to CMC they got her upstairs to the 3rd floor and had to redo all of her wires and tubes.

This is Jolianne's new room. The nurses called the bed she is sleeping in the Cadilliac. The doctors would call it the box. This is where she would spend most of her time growing big and strong for her surgery in November.

Such tiny little feet.
